СʪÃÃÊÓƵworks have introduced a new programme for third-year undergraduates and alumni who are looking to launch their own start-up business. Launchpad is a brand new extra-curricular module designed to inspire, educate, and encourage students and alumni. Whether you want to get a graduate job or pursue your own entrepreneurial journey, the knowledge you gain on Launchpad will ultimately enhance your professional development and future prospects.
Launchpad will allow you to develop and grow your business ideas, build on your existing skill set and enhance your professional development. Starting your own business also means that you can generate a revenue, be your own boss and give yourself future financial freedom. This programme will also provide you with the opportunity to develop your organisation, communication, decision making, risk taking, finance, marketing and analytical skills. The practical skills and lateral thinking ability which you develop on this module will help you to become a more competent graduate.
The module will take place over 4 weeks, online via Microsoft Teams. It will consist of 4 lectures and 2 seminars. During weeks 2 and three, lectured will be followed by an informal semiar to engable you to develop your idea, view other businesses and ask any questions you may have.
All 6 sessions must be attended to complete the module, and attendance will be monitored.

Seminars:
These will take place on Thursday 15 and Thursday 22 April at the following times* depending on your faculty:
ADH students: 1-2pm
BAL students: 2-3pm
CEM students: 3-4pm
HLS students: 4-5pm
*Please note: Both sessions will take place at the same time both weeks.
