Personal profile

Dr. Ryan's research interests center around evaluating psychological interventions, particularly those aimed at improving the health and well-being of individuals with developmental disorders, mental health conditions, and their families.
Key areas of interest include intervention design and evaluation, mental health, psychological therapies, and autism.
Recent projects I have worked on include leading a feasibility trial aimed at evaluating a novel parenting intervention for children with autism, conducting a process evaluation for the acceptability of a well-being intervention targeting parents of children recently diagnosed with autism, and collaborating on projects that aimed to provide evidence of counseling effectiveness for children and young people.
